Here’s a video of the Mazda Nagare concept car. Looks absolutely superb! Just the kind of futuristic car I’d love to see mass produced.

Hyundai showed at the Los Angeles Auto Show their Hyundai Coupe Art Car, a car decorated by an artist named Billy apparently, that used graffiti and tribal motives. Looks ok, though I’m not really into that whole flower power thing :P.

Apparently, the follower of the Bugatti Veyron will be decided sometime next year. While the factory currently makes around 70 models/year, the president of Bugatti declared that they will make no more then 300 models of the exotic Veyron. The target price for this future car is somewhere between 150,000 and 300,000 euro.

The Ford Iosis X, the SUV concept that made waves when it was launched due to its dynamic design, will become a series model in 2008. Many of the concepts elements will be in the series model aswell.

Ford called on Giugiaro’s genius and asked him to reinterpret the Mustang. This is what came out of it. The new creation gets its look from the current Mustang, but they added some Giugiaro charm to it. Mustang by Giugiaro will be officialy presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Continental Tyres gave yesterday a warning to the drivers that are driving fridays between 16:00 and 17:00. According to a british study, this is the time period with the most accidents.

In 2005, in Great Britain, in the hour interval 16-17 have been recorded 2454 accidents, 35% more then the 20-21 interval and 50% more then the 21-22 interval. The risk is higher in November when the humidity is higher, the temperatures are around 6 degrees and the sun sets at 16:30. The bigger number of accidents happens friday because its the end of the week and the drivers are tired. Research has shown that the number of accidents increase by 10% in november, compared to october.

Hmm, the warning of Continental Tyres continues by recomending winter tyres when the temperature is below 7 degrees. So the study is just a way for Continental Tyres to sell more winter tyres? Mehh.

Alfa Romeo plans to build a luxury sedan, based on the future generation of the Maserati Quattroporte. The four door sedan might be called 169 and will be the first rear traction model for Alfa Romeo in the last 17 years, but all this in 2009, when it will hit the market. The Alfa 169 might have the same engine as the 8C Competizione.
