Fiability made in China
75% of the cars made in China, suffer a malfunction in the first 6 months of life. This is what the Chinese Association for Quality says atleast. More then that, for every 100 sold cars, there were 338 malfunctions in the first 9 months since they were bought, while they were only 246 registered last year.
The main reason for the decrease in fiability for the chinese cars is the speed with which the chinese industry is growing and the competition that is forcing them to bring the prices down. Most of the complains are about the breaking system and the air-conditioning. Don’t know about you, but I’m a bit reluctand to buy a chinese car if one of the biggest problems they have is with the brakes.
The car prices went down by 1200 dollars in China in the last 12 months and its expected to go down more. Still, it is expected that the chinese market will find a level of balance, just as Japan and Korea did before.
