Peugeot 4007’s brother, the Citroen C-Crosser has been launched by Citroen yesterday. The new model uses the name of the concept model presented at Frankfurt five years ago.

Citroen C-Crosser front The Citroen C-Crosser will be 4640mm in length, 1810mm wide and 1730mm in height. Due to the third row of chairs, the Citroen C-Crosser can carry up to seven people. The trunk is split in two parts, the inferior one beeing made to carry heavy objects of up to 200kg.

Under the hood, Citroen C-Crosser will have only one engine for the start, made together with Peugeot, the 2.2 HDi FAP. This engine has 156HP and will have a 6 speed manual gearbox.

The Citroen C-Crosser will be on sale in Europe beggining from july 2007, just like Peugeot 4007. The common goal for Citroen C-Crosser and Peugeot 4007 will be 30,000 units/year.
