The second biggest US producer, Ford, recently reported a 5,8 billion $ loss over the third trimester of 2006, mostly because of the expenditures provoked by the reduction in personnel on the american continent. Ford reduced its production in the third semester by 11% and will further reduce its production by 21% in the fourth one.
