Nissan Rogue Concept
Nissan gave us a short peek into their current project, the Nissan Rogue Concept. We’ll have to wait for a few more months before this is officially presented in Detroit, in January 2007. Unfortunately they just released half a picture showing us the back of the car, but still, we can see some of the design elements in it.
We can see the large spoiler, the huge wheels and a few other things, but I’m not satisfied. The first thing I look at when evaluating the looks of a car is the front, and they didn’t show that part. Guess we’ll have to wait a couple of months before we can actually see if it’s a nice car or a total flop.
The series model for which the Nissan Rogue Concept is made will probably be a crossover, positioned between the new Qashqai and Murano. It will be built on the C platform, born out of the Renault-Nissan alliance, platform that will also be used for Nissan Qashqai and Renault Koleos. The series model, that will show up at the end of 2007, will have the 2.5L V6 with 210HP.
